Our Roots
Veritas Tours began in 2018 when Christopher Sherrard, a local historian with deep family roots in the city, recognized the need for tour experiences that told Derry's story with nuance and accuracy.
Having grown up during the latter years of the Troubles and witnessed the city's transformation through the peace process, Christopher assembled a team of guides who shared his passion for honest storytelling and community reconciliation.
Today, our guides come from various backgrounds and traditions, ensuring that multiple perspectives inform our narratives. This diversity is our strength and allows us to present a comprehensive picture of the city's past and present.
